Cultural Center Maasmechelen, located in a beautiful park in the Eisdense garden district, near Maasmechelen Village, De Pauwengraaf, and Shopping Center M2, has everything needed to provide the cultural moments that valueseekers in the Maasland area are looking for with its varied, high quality offerings.
The theater and contemporary dance programs can easily compete with what is offered in a large city. The music programming includes the best Dutch-language songs, pop, rock, and world music, but also cabaret & comedy, family theater, and interesting lectures are part of our program.
In particular, the extensive selection of classical concerts (± 30!) and contemporary (chamber) music, often performed in the picturesque churches of the Maasmechelen villages of Leut and Vucht, attracts many enthusiastic visitors from the Euregio.
Under the label Cinématinee, we regularly present carefully selected thematic and current films. These are shown in the best conditions in our theater.
We also exhibit the work of interesting and often renowned national and international artists in our 3 galleries. The exhibitions are announced on our website and are freely accessible during regular opening hours.
