From Beringen to Maasmechelen. Past mine shafts, top nature, innovative hotspots, and places to meet each other. The former railway between the mines is becoming a cycling highway that connects past and future. The cycling highway is not yet fully completed, but through these loops, you can already discover a glimpse of what the Kolenspoor will offer in the future.
The four cycling loops each cover about 40 to 50 kilometers. Good for 170 kilometers and countless hours of cycling fun. The loops guide you along the most beautiful nature, viewpoints, and heritage sites that As, Beringen, Genk, Heusden-Zolder, Houthalen-Helchteren, Maasmechelen, and Zonhoven have to offer.
