Harbor House Rules
Registration / Check-In
Register at Visit Maasmechelen when you dock or at the next moment the office is open.
Requirements: ID card, vehicle registration document, and passenger details.
Maximum Stay Duration
April 1st – September 30th: max. 3 nights
October 1st – March 30th: max. 7 nights
Between 2 stays: minimum 14 days
Usage & Safety
- Only boats with a license and registration may dock. Dutch boats must have an ICP registration.
- Moor properly with sufficient fenders.
- Attaching car tires to jetties is prohibited.
- Maintenance on boats is not allowed.
- Pets? Keep the area clean.
- Liability and fire insurance required.
- You must have at least 1 fire extinguisher on board.
- Your boat is docked at your own risk.
- Parking in the harbor is prohibited. Use free public parking nearby.
Reservations
Individual berth reservations are not possible.
Group bookings with multiple boats can be arranged via Visit Maasmechelen.
Control & Sanctions
Police and city officials enforce these rules.
