Kayaking on the Maas

Are you a fan of something a little more challenging? Then take your kayak out on the Maas. Alone, as a couple, or with the whole family. A trip down the Maas in a kayak is fun guaranteed. You can choose between 9, 13, or 21 km.

Terland Beach

Don’t want to risk getting up on some water skis or getting wet in the aqua park? Then enjoy the beach. Terland Beach is the hotspot for a dip in the lake, a delicious aperitif, or fun beach games. Enjoy the sun, lake, and beach under the watchful eye of the lifeguards. Terland Beach is the only place on the lake where swimming is allowed.

Ferries

The Maas isn’t a barrier for a cycling or hiking tour across the border. The ferries ensure a smooth crossing. Maasmechelen has two ferries of its own, one from Uikhoven to Geulle and another from Meeswijk to Berg aan de Maas. The last ferry is also big enough for you to cross with your car. Enjoy great views and a refreshing breeze on the boat during your crossing.
