The blue loop starts from the Terhills gateway and takes you on 5.4 km of winding paths through the woods and along the water in the Hoge Kempen National Park. Enjoy beautiful views over the water along the way and then reach the top of the Terril. Rest on cosy benches with beautiful views or find a spot along the path to have your picnic.
If you want to extend the loop a little, you can do so by using the trail junctions. All information can be obtained from Visit Maasmechelen, which is located near the starting point of the Terhills gateway.
