A 7 km hike will take you past five old legends and sagas of the Maas villages of Uikhoven and Kotem. These amusing and often moralising tales from a distant past were meant to scare the hell out of unwanted passers-by. You can also extend this loop to the floodplains of the Maas. This breath-taking natural landscape makes the extra effort worthwhile. The legend trail connects perfectly to the cycling route network, the Maas Valley River Park hiking trails, and is an ideal hike for families.
