Enjoying the landscape in Terhills can be done in a unique way. Just above the water's surface, the pontoon bridge "Cycling between the Mine Heaps" winds its way, connecting the Lange Terril and the Twin-terril.
Hoge Kempen National Park
The Hoge Kempen National Park is the only national park in Belgium. It is a unique nature reserve where more than 12,000 ha of natural beauty are managed and protected. Extensive pine forests alternate with purple heather and drifting dunes. Large lakes bear witness to gravel and sand extraction. High peaks offer grand vistas.
